We love classic and classically inspired bikes. We design and fabricate elegant bicycle lighting components designed to integrate with your bicycle and provide seamless, intuitive and reliable functionality.

Anton Tutter is the founder of Velo Lumino and lives in Somerville, MA. He is a research biologist by career and has an engineering background, but loves to spend long days in the saddle exploring the forgotten dirt carriage roads of New England and upstate New York. When he's not riding he's usually working on bikes: he's pretty obsessional about them and loves bikes whose designs are purposeful, simple, and elegant. His AT fender taillight embodies this ethos.

Tom Matchak is the owner of Tom Matchak Cycles. He lives in New Hampshire's White Mountains, where he settled following a life changing transcontinental bicycle tour. For three decades prior to his escape, he pursued a career as a chemical engineer, designing advanced energy conversion processes. Along the way, Tom learned bicycle design, and acquired the fabricator's skills needed to build classic steel frames. For more than 12 years, Tom has been building lovely bespoke frames/forks/racks and creating one-off components to fulfill special needs. The TMAT stem switch reflects a design aesthetic, shared with Anton, which values robust functionality, elegant simplicity, and a pleasing user interaction.
